(Cambridge, MA – Wednesday, April 6, 2005) From left, Dan Lieberman, Professor of Anthropology studies a skull that may have come from a 7 million year old man inside the Peabody Museum at Harvard University. The skull on the right, held by Lieberman is a replica that corrects the distorted shape of the original skull on the left, which is believed to have been distorted in shape while under the enormous pressure of being buried beneath the Sahara Desert in Chad.
